Diventare autista di autobus non è semplice se non si ha una buona predisposizione alla guida, o peggio se non risulta piacevole l’idea di trascorrere del tempo con il volante fra le mani.

Questo lavoro non è, infatti, indicato per coloro che hanno un buon rapporto con l’autovettura, anche nel caso dovesse essere di dimensioni superiori a quelle cui si è abituati.

Quindi sappiamo che autisti di autobus non ci si può di certo improvvisare, anche perché le norme vigenti presuppongono che si abbia conseguito il titolo opportuno per la conduzione di questi mezzi dalle dimensioni grandi.

Nonostante l’idea di viaggiare, specie per lunghe tratte, sia particolarmente attrattiva per la maggior parte delle persone, essere autista necessita di consapevolezza e qualifiche opportune.

1. Quali sono i compiti di un autista di autobus

Le responsabilità di un autista di autobus variano a seconda dell’azienda per cui si lavora, ma in generale si possono riassumere nei diversi punti esposti di seguito:

1. Il conducente deve ritirare i fogli forniti ad inizio turno prontamente forniti dalla ditta per poter comprendere quali percorsi fare e quali sono gli orari da rispettare nel caso vi siano delle fermate, oltre quelli inerenti al raggiungimento della meta;

2. Altra verifica che va effettuata riguarda la corretta apertura e chiusura delle porte, così che le norme di sicurezza dei passeggeri siano effettivamente rispettate;

3. La cura dei passeggeri, oltre che la responsabilità del trasporto, è a carico dell’autista che deve indurre i passeggeri ad un corretto comportamento che rispetti le regole prestabilite.

Nella maggior parte dei casi l’autista ha il dovere di far scendere qualunque viaggiatore che rappresenti visivamente un elemento di disturbo, o di chiamare chi di competenza.

4. L’autista può anche essere responsabile, qualora la ditta lo richieda, di controllare la validitá dei titoli di viaggio o degli abbonamenti dei passeggeri.

5. Anche verso la fine del proprio turno lavorativo, un autista deve aggiornare tutte le documentazioni di viaggio contenenti le informazioni riguardo ai percorsi effettuati, che saranno successivamente passate al collega che interverrà dopo di lui.

6. Nel caso sia richiesto, l’autista di autobus deve anche condurre il mezzo al deposito assegnato, a termine del proprio turno.

Ad un autista viene anche espressamente chiesto di rispettare le regole e le norme stradali alla perfezione, come quelle relative la velocità cui il mezzo deve andare.

Questi compiti includono il divieto assoluto di assumere sostanze stupefacenti o alcool, perché sia salvaguardata l’incolumità dei trasportati e del mezzo stesso, oltre che di chi lo conduce. In tal senso le aziende sono tenute ad effettuare dei test sui propri dipendenti.

Questi sono alcuni dei principali compiti che solitamente un autista di autobus deve assolvere e rispettare.

Detto ciò, passiamo a uno degli aspetti più interessanti di qualsiasi mestiere ossia la paga.

2. Quanto guadagna un autista di autobus

La retribuzione di un autista di autobus varia a seconda del compito che egli ha: c’è naturalmente differenza fra un autista da lunghe tratte ed un altro che effettua servizio all’interno di una città.

In generale però lo stipendio varia fra 1100 euro al mese e 1600 euro al mese, in base anche alla disponibilità nell’effettuare orari e turni notturni, che vengono, come di norma, retribuiti diversamente.

In rari casi, aggiungendo i diritti legati all’anzianità del lavoro, lo stipendio raggiunge i 2300 euro al mese ma non sono registrati casi di superamento di questa soglia.

3. Cosa serve per poter intraprendere la professione di autista di autobus

Secondo la legislazione nazionale vi sono dei requisiti da rispettare per poter intraprendere la carriera di autista di autobus: questa figura infatti non può avere meno di 21 anni compiuti, poiché sotto questa età non si può ottenere la patente D.

La patente D è infatti fondamentale per poter guidare mezzi che trasportano persone, secondo un numero massimo che dipende dal mezzo.

Altrettanto necessario è il Certificato di Qualificazione del Conducente, comunemente abbreviato in CQC, per mezzo del quale sarà possibile candidarsi per lavori inerenti i servizi di linea sia pubblici sia privati, poiché attesta l’idoneità alla guida.

Per ottenere questi due speciali certificati occorre effettuare dei corsi presso una scuola guida autorizzata e, successivamente, passare gli esami definitivi.

Generalmente le aziende che cercano la figura di autista di autobus, offrono corsi di affiancamento per coloro che risultano meno esperti, così che possano essere seguiti dagli autisti che conducono questi mezzi da più tempo.

Candidarsi ad autista di autobus senza aver conseguito i certificati necessari è dunque sconsigliabile, poiché non si potrebbe effettuare il servizio in nessuna occasione.

Detto questo, avete a disposizione tutto ciò che occorre sapere su questa professione.
