Nell’articolo precedente abbiamo trattato una professione che spesso viene svolta all’interno degli edifici ovvero il lavoro del cameraman.
Oggi invece, parleremo di un lavoro ideale per tutti gli amanti del verde e dell’aria aperta.
Se possedete un giardino vi sarà di certo capitato di dover chiamare un giardiniere per curare le vostre piante o voi stessi sarete stati costretti a improvvisarvi tali.
Bene, questo articolo si concentra proprio su questa figura e su tutto ciò che gira attorno ad essa.
Terminata questa premessa, andiamo a scoprire i segreti di questa attività. Iniziamo dal punto primo.
1. Quali sono le attività svolte dal giardiniere
Come ben saprete, il giardiniere è colui che si occupa della sistemazione e della cura di giardini e aree verdi attraverso l’ausilio di specifici strumenti che vanno dai più classici utilizzati fin dai tempi più antichi, come zappe, forbici e cesoie, a quelli moderni arrivati con l’avvento della tecnologia quali estirpatori, diffusori per erbicidi o insetticidi, irrigatori e molto altro ancora.
Grazie a questa attrezzatura il giardiniere è in grado di svolgere le sue attività che consistono in:
- lavorazione dei diversi tipi di terreni
- coltivare, seminare e piantumare piante e altri vegetali
- cura delle piante con l’uso di fertilizzanti, diserbanti e altri tipi di prodotti biologici
- pulizia e limitazione di eventuali piante infestanti
- manutenzione di aree verdi attraverso potatura, rasatura e falciatura
- gestione delle diverse aree attraverso l’irrigazione
- selezione della giusta tipologia di piante
Queste sono le attività standard di ogni giardiniere ma, nel caso di aree private o comunali si possono aggiungere mansioni quali:
- realizzazione di giardini
- erogazione di piante per giardini privati, parchi o altre aree verdi
- cura di orti finalizzati alla coltivazione di frutta o ortaggi
Spesso, quando un giardiniere viene chiamato a svolgere un attività di interesse pubblico potrebbe essere affiancato ad altri professionisti quali architetti e muratori per il completamento del progetto.
Questo dovrebbe farvi capire che il lavoro del giardiniere ha molte più responsabilità di quanto si possa credere.
Nonostante ciò, è un lavoro davvero interessante sopratutto per chi ama la natura e ne vorrebbe sempre essere circondato e inoltre è un ottimo modo per passare il proprio tempo all’aria aperta.
Abbiamo capito che dietro la figura del giardiniere c’è tanto duro lavoro. Vediamo ora questo duro lavoro quanto è in grado di far guadagnare.
2. Quanto guadagna un giardiniere
Nel nostro paese questo tipo di professione è spesso sottovalutata e messa in secondo piano come lavoro secondario.
In realtà il giardiniere è una figura chiave nella cura e nella presentazione di giardini, parchi e aree comuni dato che è solo grazie a lui se si hanno a disposizione aree verdi ben curate e accessibili al pubblico.
Senza di esso molte aree risulterebbero perfino inagibili a causa della vegetazione fuori controllo.
E quindi quanto percepisce un giardiniere per il suo duro lavoro?
Come sempre è doveroso ricordare che lo stipendio percepito può variare a causa di parecchi fattori come ad esempio la posizione geografica, le mansioni ed anche le stagioni.
Detto ciò, cercheremo di fornire cifre quanto più reali possibile.
Per quanto riguarda un giardiniere dipendente la paga iniziale per un dipendente senza esperienza è circa 800 euro. Dopo circa 10 anni di esperienza la paga tende ad oscillare fra i 1300 e i 1500 euro mensili per concludersi sui 1700 euro per coloro che sono specializzati e quasi a fine carriera.
Questo è lo stipendio medio di un giardiniere alle dipendenze di qualcuno.
Il discorso cambia per i lavoratori autonomi. La paga, in questo caso, varia anche a seconda della mansione che gli viene richiesta e dalla mole di lavoro necessaria.
In questo caso la paga viene stabilità dal giardiniere stesso ma rimanendo nella media, per una semplice potatura il prezzo si aggira sui 10 euro orari all’incirca.
In questo caso, per un giardiniere autonomo la paga mensile può arrivare anche a 2000 euro ma ciò dipenderà dal numero di cliente e dal numero di lavori che riuscirà a compiere nell’arco del mese e quindi significa che più sarete capaci e più potrete guadagnare.
Se amate l’ambiente e pensate sia il lavoro dei vostri sogni andiamo a vedere i requisiti necessari per percorrere questa carriera.
3. Come diventare giardiniere
A discapito di quello che si può pensare, dietro questa professione si nasconde tanto studio e molta esperienza. Ciò non vuol dire necessariamente possedere una laurea ma è importante avere competenze in questo settore.
Per acquisire tali competenze è consigliabile, se andate ancora a scuola, frequentare un istituto per periti agrari.
Se questa età è ormai passata ma volete comunque proseguire su questa strada potete optare per altre due strade:
- conseguire una laurea in Agraria o in Botanica
- seguire un corso riconosciuto da regioni ed enti locali
Solitamente questi corsi sono a pagamento, hanno una durata biennale e rilasciano un attestato professionale. Questi corsi prevedono sia teoria che pratica e, una volta terminati, prevedono anche un tirocinio.
Tutto questo è necessario in quanto un giardiniere qualificato non deve conoscere solo le piante bensì tutto ciò che gli gira attorno come ad esempio gli insetti che spesso si rivelano un grosso problema per l’intera vegetazione.
Perciò è compito di ogni buon giardiniere rimanere sempre aggiornato su tutto ciò che riguarda la flora e non solo.
