Il mestiere che tratteremo oggi è incentrato sulla guida di veicoli, ma non veicoli qualsiasi, bensì trattori.
Proprio così, in questo articolo ci concentreremo sulla figura del trattorista, un mestiere più ambito di quanto ci si possa aspettare.
Prima di andare ad esaminare le mansioni di questo professionista, vogliamo aprire una piccola parentesi riguardo questo lavoro.
Nonostante si possa pensare al lavoro del trattorista come il semplice guidare un trattore o altri mezzi agricoli su e giù per i campi, potete stare certi che non è così.
Anzi, anche questo lavoro col tempo è cambiato. Se una volta si stava alla guida di trattori “semplici”, con l’avanzare della tecnologia e lo sviluppo di macchinari sempre più moderni e all’avanguardia, il trattorista è stato costretto ad evolversi e ad apprendere le conoscenze che gli mancavano riguardo i nuovi mezzi di lavoro.
Per sopperire a queste lacune, alcuni istituti agrari hanno persino indetto dei corsi per operatore addetto all’uso di trattori agricoli e forestali, per poter permettere ai giovani che intendono affacciarsi a questo tipo di professione una preparazione non solo teorica ma anche pratica.
Proprio per l’importanza che ha questa figura (specie nei giusti periodi di semina, raccolta ecc.) gli annunci di lavoro tendono a richiedere sempre più spesso esperienza, in quanto le aziende non possono permettersi di prendere a carico un novellino alle prime armi.
Attenti quindi o sottovalutare questo maestro dei trattori.
Bando alle ciance, andiamo a vedere i compiti che deve saper svolgere.
1. Quali sono i compiti del trattorista
Le mansioni di un trattorista possono cambiare a seconda delle stagioni. Nonostante ciò, ci sono dei lavori che ogni guidatore di trattori è chiamato a fare, ovvero:
- Trasporto di carichi
- Raccolta dei prodotti agricoli una volta giunti alla maturazione
- Guidare non solo i trattori ma anche altri mezzi agricoli
- Occuparsi della manutenzione del mezzo
- Lavorare i terreni
- Agganciare al trattore le macchine operatrici
- Svolgere eventuali altri lavori agricoli qualora servisse
Come potete notare, tra le mansioni c’è anche la manutenzione del mezzo. Ciò vuol dire che è sua responsabilità occuparsi di eventuali danni al veicolo e, nel caso andasse sostituito qualche pezzo, comunicarlo a chi di dovere.
Questo vuol dire che un buon trattorista non può limitarsi semplicemente a saper guidare un trattore, deve anche possedere le giuste conoscenze dei mezzi.
Invece, tra gli eventuali altri lavori che gli potrebbero essere richiesti, ci sono ad esempio il sollevamento e il trasporto di cassette o anche la manutenzione degli attrezzi per i lavori agricoli.
2. Quanto guadagna un trattorista
Dal punto di vista economico, lo stipendio di un trattorista varia per lo più in base all’esperienza e agli anni di anzianità.
Da 0 ai 3 anni d’esperienza lo stipendio base e di circa 950 euro netti al mese.
Per un trattorista dai 4 ai 9 anni d’esperienza la paga aumenta fino a raggiungere una media di circa 1280 euro mensili.
Per un esperto, quindi dai 10 ai 20 anni di esperienza la paga arriva a toccare in media i 1750 euro mensili.
Se si è a fine carriera, per quanto possa sembrare strano, la paga subisce una lieve diminuzione, arrivando a ricevere una media di 1520 euro mensili.
In termini generali, possiamo dire che la paga oscilla da un minimo di 900 euro mensili fino a un massimo che può superare anche i 2100 euro netti al mese.
Se ciò vi soddisfa, andiamo a vedere cosa serve per diventare trattoristi.
3. Come diventare trattorista
Per vostra fortuna, non servono grandi requisiti per poter intraprendere questa carriera ma, nonostante tutto, un titolo di studio come un bel diploma vi renderà certamente più appetibili sul mercato, specie se quello di perito agrario.
Ciò che invece è imprescindibile per questo lavoro è il possesso della speciale patente di guida per trattori.
Il problema sta nel fatto che non è una sola ma varia in base alle proprietà del mezzo da condurre.
Per vostra fortuna però, esistono dei corsi specifici per addetti alla conduzione di macchine agricole e trattoristi che vi permetteranno di ottenere l’abilitazione alla guida di questi mezzi.
Questi corsi vengono erogati da enti appartenenti a tale settore o persino da scuole agrarie e si dividono in parti teoriche ma anche pratiche, così da farvi ottenere tutte le conoscenze necessarie per esercitare tale professione, specie quelle sulla sicurezza.
Non è insolito per un trattorista, situazioni nel quale il proprio mezzo scivola, impenna o peggio ancora si ribalta, ed è per questo che le conoscenze sulla sicurezza sono fondamentali.
Il resto del lavoro lo si apprende solitamente sul campo oppure tramite periodi da tirocinante in qualche azienda agricola.
